Project 6
(Title mentioning the International dimension and brief description of the project):
Healthy food and Healthy habit
Everybody should be aware of the food which we take. Health is the most valuable property. We know that the health of anyone is determined by the food they eat. So, there is a strong relationship between food and the health of people. People are too busy in their day to day lives. They are always feeling tense to manage their time. In this context, junk food has become more common and global culture of the people. Junk food is now available everywhere. Due to it children are more attracted towards junk food. Consequently, children are more prone to obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, tooth decay and so on. As children are the strong pillar of the country, protection of their health comes under the responsibility of all stakeholders like parents and teachers. Health of children can be ensured only by inculcating healthy food habits in the children. This project is linked with Science and Social Studies of classes 1,2 and 3. Unit
